George Town

Guyana was economically struggling  during the period that I was living there. I could remember seeing long stretches of people lining up to buy the few stocks of glossaries available in the stores.  Imported goods were  hard to find.  When there were  Filipino sailors in the area , only then would we be fortunate enough to taste those kinds of goods.  I shall never forget the good memories I have experienced with the local people . They are so generous  to share what little they might have ,and  willing to embrace the foreigners in their society with open arms.

Kaiteurfalls

At present , the country has improved tremendously in all aspects. Eco-tourism is very much alive in Guyana. The breathtaking landscape and the friendly people, are reasons enough to visit this place.
